Evaluation
Evaluations are an important step in understanding and supporting each individual’s unique communication style. Dani offers both formal and informal assessments to identify communication strengths, differences, and areas for growth. These evaluations help guide personalized therapy plans that honor each client’s way of learning and expressing themselves.
Group Therapy
Group sessions are available for one or more peers and are thoughtfully grouped based on shared interests, strengths, or areas of growth. The focus of these sessions is to provide a supportive framework for engaging in shared experiences, fostering meaningful peer interactions, and practicing communication in a natural, collaborative setting.
Individual Therapy
Using multiple sources of information, including evaluations, client input, and evidence-based practices, Dani develops a highly individualized treatment plan for each client. Sessions can take place in-home, virtually, at school, or in the community. Each client’s passions and curiosity guide therapy, serving as a gateway to meaningful, reciprocal interactions and authentic communication.
Collaboration
Collaboration with families and the broader client team. including schools and outside providers, is a key component of therapy. Dani ensures families have a clear understanding of evaluation results, the treatment plan, and ongoing progress, fostering transparency and trust. The goal is for families to feel actively included, supported, and confident in the therapeutic approach.
Educational Trainings
Dani partners with schools and clinics to enhance staff knowledge and expertise in areas such as gestalt language processing, neurodiversity-affirming practices, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
She offers in-service and professional development trainings for school staff and clinics, as well as classroom support for teachers and paraprofessionals. Dani also provides parent education and collaborates with outside providers, including occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and psychologists to support a coordinated, interdisciplinary approach.
